Privacy notice
What we do with the details you give us
This notice covers sabificate.com and the form on our home page. It explains what we collect, why, who sees it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do. Last updated 23 October 2026.
In short: we keep your name and contact so we can tell you about early access. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or add you to anyone else's list. Write to hello@sabificate.com and we will show you what we hold or delete it.
Who we are
SABIficate builds short, phone-first workplace lessons for Nigeria. The company is still being formed, and this notice will carry its registered name once it exists. We decide how the details on this site are used, which makes us responsible for them under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. You can reach us at hello@sabificate.com.
What we collect
- From the form on our home page: your full name, your email address or WhatsApp number, your company or workplace, and your role there. You may also give the size of your team and a short note (up to 300 characters) about what you are thinking about. Please keep that note free of sensitive personal details. We do not contact your workplace without your say-so.
- When you email us: what you choose to write.
- When you browse: the standard request details any web server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the visit. We use no advertising or analytics trackers.
- On your own device: the site remembers whether you turned page motion off, and keeps a copy of the page so it loads faster next time. Both stay in your browser and never reach us.
Why we use it
We use the details you send us only to contact you about SABIficate: more information, early access, pilots for employers, and pricing when it is set. A copy of each submission is emailed to our team at hello@sabificate.com and sales@sabificate.com. We rely on your consent, which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time, and we will stop contacting you.
Who sees it
The SABIficate founding team. Our website host stores the form entries, in a private folder that the web server does not serve, and the server logs, for us. A copy of each entry is also emailed to the founding team. Its servers may be outside Nigeria. It acts on our instructions and may not use them for anything else. We do not sell your details or pass them to advertisers, recruiters or other training providers.
How long we keep it
We keep these details until twelve months after SABIficate launches, then delete them, unless you have become a learner or customer by then. If you ask us to delete them sooner, we will.
What you can ask us to do
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us to:
- tell you what details we hold about you and give you a copy
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your details, or stop using them
- stop contacting you
Email hello@sabificate.com from the address or number you signed up with, and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Learners on a SABIficate programme
This notice covers the website only. If your employer enrols you on a SABIficate programme, you will see a separate notice inside the app before you start. It explains what your employer sees, what stays on your phone, and how long your practical work is kept.
Changes
If we change how we use your details, we will update this page and the date at the top. If the change matters to you, we will tell you before it applies.
